i tried, i always get stiff eggs. arghh, wasted huge amount of eggs. but my dad calls it jelly egg. LOL.

Why not heat the water.
Then you put the eggs in the water to get your half boiled eggs.
Do it the traditional kopitiam way.

Just boil the water first in the microwave. After about 3 mins, put the egg in. Leave it inside the microwave, but without any power. This is to retain the heat in the water.

Try not to cook egg in mirco wave. Overheated and the egg can explode. It will cause a mess in the mircowave oven.
If the eggis out and explode when u are breaking it, u can get injure.
