Why Can't I Bring My Practical Test Date at BBDC Earlier?

I'm kinda annoyed because originally my practical test date was booked at BBDC for the 8th February. That was a big problem since I'm leaving the country at the very beginning of that month, so my instructor (I'm taking private lessons BTW) told me to appeal, and today I talked to the chief tester and appealed and the earliest test date they could give me was 24th January.
2 weeks ahead is ok, but I'm still worried incase I fail the first time that i might not be able to have time for retest. What's also annoying is that I've learnt everything except driving on the circuit, and January is a long wait. How come I can't keep checking online for earlier practical dates and book myself, my instructor said BBDC doesn't allow? My friend did that in a different driving centre and just passed his test last week
I think driving centres should have more 'spare slots' for people in my kind of situation -
never heard before FIRST COME FIRST SERVE? who come last and take things first?

Thats not the point, because in other centres you can check online for earlier dates and bring forwards. Maybe I should have gone different centre I guess

so wat i suggest is tt u constantly check online for pple who drop off their test dates, will depend on ur luck if u can manage to get any...
as for the circuit training, no worries, i only get a chance to go into the circuit 3 wks b4 my test date, juz ask ur instructor to book more slots for u to practise when ur test is nearing lor -
But my teacher said I can't book the practical test date any earlier now even if I find online, now that I already appealed? Is he wrong or what, because my friend who did his in Comfort or something checked frequently and got a very good date by chance. I'm not trying to be selfish or anything, but I'm just worried I might not be able to get it done before I leave Singapore

If you think your instructor gave you the wrong information why don't you go down to BBDC to check??

I went down there today already to talk to chief tester and they brought it forward to 27th January like I said, which is the earliest they have the moment they said. But I'm trying to confirm if my teacher is right that I cannot change my test date online now, seeing if anyone here knows for sure

I guess if cannot then ok, got lots of time to practice then and make sure I pass first time hopefully

u made a fuss at the driving centre with the chief tester... they should most proably take NOTE of u... u know wat i mean... testers are all very... YA YA as i can say...

ha count yourself lucky they brought your date earlier...i started in august and all i could get was march for my tp -_-.

i took my lessons in january and passed in march. how? complain? too fast.
ask TP. "are you sure i passed?"
test date can change one ah? i didnt know that. -
actually the TP tester at BBDC already very kind to U liao...let U change to earlier date...Its not anyone's fault that U need to go overseas....neither is it anyone's duty to make sure U get ur license before U go.
