Nobody wants to kena sue mah....so the police just do their routine and operate with standard procedures/guidelines lor....unless someone wields a gun or parang toh in public....or neighbours quarrel with weapons in their hands....then they'll arrest somebody lah....

If the neighbour blast their sound system beyond the limits, and refuse to stop when ordered to do so, the police can take action. But if the neighbour just drag furniture, slam doors, pound chilli, walk like T-Rex, children play marbles, the police can't do anything. In fact, nothing can be done, the court can't even order the nuisance neighbour to be more considerate.
The police or the courts can come in only when the minor noises causes the warring parties to escalate into a voilent altercation.

sue him for trepassing and threatening and whatever you lawyer can come up with.
if his behaviour continues you can then ask for a restraining order.

i think its more than that....building defects, liabilities, environmental, en bloc, pollution, forced sale due to govt developments affecting residents ......it is like a mini country

I alway believe in you good, i better, you bad, I worse, like my neighbour, alway make good foods for me, so I buy cakes for them as often as I can, the other one on our left more better, the husband like me alot, alway buy durian for me and help me to move our lawns, but the wife hates me abit.
So, if neighbours are bad, do the same to them, if they make noise, you make more noise, if they throw rubbish on the walkway, you thru more rubbish and let it rot, in this way, you do not have to waste time complaining and make matter worst, from hate to more hatre. Let say you complained to guards and police came, settled the problem, but the hatre of your neighbour will deepen further, to their thinking is, one of these day...

Good neighbours are really rare nowadays....most are bo-chup types or hao-lian types....

bo chap, then you more bo chap lah, if hao lian, then you more hao lian lor, like my neighbour alway hao lian that she go australia and NZ tour, so when I go penang or back to taiwan, met her, told her I go Europe, Alaska and enroute hawaii lor.
want to lian also must see hor, you meet a ah lian, sure loose one
